Linda Morra

Dr. Linda M. Morra is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Bishop’s University. Her most recent book, Unarrested Archives: Case Studies in Twentieth-Century Canadian Women’s Authorship (UTP 2014), examines how women writers approached their own archives for the purposes of locating self-agency. She co-edited Basements and Attics, Closets and Cyberspace: Explorations in Canadian Women’s Archives (WLUP 2011); she also found in the archives and prepared an edition of Jane Rule’s memoir, Taking My Life (Talon 2012), which was shortlisted for the LAMBDA prize. She currently lives in Montreal.
