Janet Wilson

Janet Wilson is Professor of English and Postcolonial Studies at the University of Northampton, and in 2010-2011 Research Fellow in New Zealand Studies at Birkbeck, University of London where she has established the New Zealand Studies Network. She is an Associate Fellow of the Rothermere American Institute, Oxford, Vice-Chair of the Katherine Mansfield Association and editor of the Journal of Postcolonial Writing. From 2008-2011 she was Chair of EACLALS. Her research interests are in the white settler society, in New Zealand and Australian writing and cinema, and postcolonial and diaspora writing more generally. Her recent publications include two coedited volumes, Katherine Mansfield and Literary Modernism (Continuum, 2011), and Celebrating Katherine Mansfield; A Centenary Volume of Essays (Palgrave, 2011).
