Michael Pursglove

Educated Bradford Grammar School, King's College Cambridge, New College, Oxford. Taught Russian language and literature at the New University of Ulster, Reading, Exeter and Bath. Now retired and works as freelance translator. Published a translation of Turgenev's Fathers and Children in 2010. Currently working on a translation of Turgenev's Smoke, to be published by Oneworld Classics in 2012. Also founder and fundraiser for the Moscow Bilingual Deaf School Association.
