Eleanor Jane Hedley

Jane Hedley is K. Laurence Stapleton Professor of English at Bryn Mawr College, where she teaches Renaissance literature and contemporary poetry. She is the author of Power in Verse: Metaphor and Metonymy in the Renaissance Lyric and "I Made You to Find Me": The Coming of Age of the Woman Poet and the Politics of Poetic Address. Her essays on modern and contemporary women poets have appeared in Genre, Hypatia, and Raritan; her most recent publication is In the Frame, a co-edited volume of essays on women's ekphrastic poetry.
