Henry Mead is completing a DPhil on the ideological affiliation of
early modernism. His research focuses on T.E. Hulme's contributions
to the New Age between 1909 and 1917. He completed a BA and MA at
Reading University, and held the Martin Senior Scholarship at
Worcester College from 2007-2008. Recent publications include 'T.E.
Hulme, Bergson, and the New Philosophy' for the European Journal of
English Studies 12.3 (2008), and 'Edwardian Intellectuals and
Political Religions: A Survey', for Blackwells Political Religions
