Guy Paul Snaith

Guy Snaith is an Honorary Senior Fellow of the University of Liverpool where he lectured in French, particularly in the fields of French theatre, seventeenth-century French literature and French Canada. A graduate of the University of Toronto, his doctoral research was pursued at the University of Cambridge where he worked on the drama of the seventeenth-century French playwright La Calprenède. He has published critical editions of two of his plays: La Mort des enfans d'Hèrodes (1988) and La Mort de Mitridate (2007), as well as numerous articles on the dramatist. His work on French-Canadian subjects includes an edition of the novel La Guerre, yes sir! (2000) by the Quebec author Roch Carrier.
