Linda Pollock

I am a Professor of history at Tulane University, a historian of early modern England, specializing on childhood, the family, elite culture, medicine and emotions. My books include: Forgotten Children and With Faith and Physic. I have published articles on such topics as childbearing, honor, patriarchy, gender socialization, younger sons, anger and kindness. I am currently writing a book on affect and morality in early modern England.
