Alisha R. Knight

Alisha R. Knight is an Assistant Professor of English and American Studies at Washington College (Chestertown, MD). She is also the Director of the Black Studies program. Dr. Knight teaches courses on the African American novel, the Harlem Renaissance, the Gilded Age and American print culture.

Her scholarship has appeared in Loopholes and Retreats: African American Writers and the Nineteenth Century, American Periodicals, and The Oxford Companion to African American Literature.
