Annalisa Volpone is a Researcher in English Literature at the University of Perugia (Italy). She has extensively published on James Joyce. She is the author of essays on Mary Wollstonecraft, William Blake and Derek Walcott. She is currently working on a monograph on William Blake and contemporary science of the mind. She is also co-editor of a forthcoming collection of essays on how literature translates, describes and deals with mental disorders between the eighteenth and nineteenth century.
