Raymond James Laird

Ray Laird is an Honorary Fellow of the Australian Catholic University at the Centre for Early Christian Studies , Banjo Brisbane , Australia. He was awarded a University Medal at the University Queensland and had thirty years of experience in lecturing in Church History and Theology at various colleges in Australia, all but two of those years as Principal or Dean. In addition to other lecturing tasks, he served on various boards and committees of the Australian College of Theology for twenty years , also at various times as an Examiner, Moderator, Head of the Department of Christian Thought, and as a member of their Board of Delegates. In recent years he has presented papers at various Patristic Conferences, including Oxford, 1999, contributed chapters to colloquiums edited by Members of the CECS. His nain publication is the monograph, Mindset, Moral Choice and Sin in the Anthropology of John Chrysostom, Early Christian Studies 15 CECS, (Strathfield NSW: St Pauls Publications, 2012.
