Nancy Pedri

Nancy Pedri is Associate Professor of English at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. A comparatist by training, her major field of interest is word-and-image relations, especially the use of photography in contemporary fiction. Secondary fields of interest include autobiographical studies, graphic novels, and narratology. She has co-edited a special issue of Poetics Today on photography in fiction (Spring 2008)and published in various journals, including International Journal of Canadian Studies, Dalhousie French Studies, Rivista di Studi Italiani, and Texte.
