Beverly EVANS

Beverly J. Evans holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania (Philadephia, PA, USA) and is Professor of French at the State University of New York College at Geneseo. A specialist in medieval French lyric poetry, she has published on text-music relationships in thirteenth-century polyphonic compositions and on songs by women trouvères. Recently, she has untaken research and writing on French music of the Great War. Dr. Evans is the international editor of Encomia, the annual publication of the International Courtly Literature Society. She is also Executive Director of Pi Delta Phi National French Honor Society (USA).
