Adele King

Adele King was professor emeritus of Ball State University and then lived for the rest of her life in Paris. She wrote two books on Camus (one in 1964, the second in 2010), and edited a collection of essays on L'Etranger. She also authored books on French women novelists, Proust and Paul Nizan. Besides modern French literature, she had expertise on Francophone African literature, including two books on Camara Laye. Adele sadly passed away in November 2018.
