Dr. Christopher Diller teaches American literature, writing, and
American Studies at Berry College (a liberal arts institution in
northwest Georgia). He is the editor of a historical edition of
Uncle Tom's Cabin for Broadview Press (2009), and has published
articles on Stowe, Hawthorne, William Dean Howells, and the history
of rhetoric. His current projects include an edited collection of
essays entitled Nathaniel Hawthorne in the College Classroom:
Contexts, Materials, and Approached (with Samuel Coale) and a
forthcoming article in The African American Review on John Beecher,
a twentieth-century social activist and poet.
