Antonio Cartolano is Lecturer in Renaissance Studies at the
University of Roehampton in London. He holds degrees from the
University of Pennsylvania (BA Honours with distinction), Columbia
University (MA), the Warburg Institute (MA) and the University of
Roehampton (PhD). His specialism is politics and literature in late
medieval and Renaissance Italy, with particular focus on the
Estense Court of Ferrara. His approach to the Renaissance is
interdiscilinary and covers the fields of History, Literature, Art
History and Political Thought.
