Victoria Reid

Victoria Reid has a BA in French and German from Worcester College, Oxford (2000), an MSc in EU Policy-Making from London School of Economics (2001) and a PhD in French Studies from the University of Reading (2005). She is currently Lecturer in French at the University of Glasgow. The monograph of her doctoral research is entitled André Gide and Curiosity (Rodopi 2009). She has published on the reception of James Hogg and Oscar Wilde by André Gide and is working on the reception of Gide in the work of Nabokov. She is co-editor of Franco-British Cultural Exchanges, 1880-1940: Channel Packets (Palgrave, forthcoming in 2012).
