Roman Koropeckyj

Roman Koropeckyj is Professor of Slavic Languages & Literatures at the University of California, Los Angeles. He received his B.A. in Comparative Literature at Columbia University in 1976 and his Ph.D. at Harvard University in 1990. He is the author of The Poetics of Revitalization: Adam Mickiewicz between Forefathers' Eve, part 3 and Pan Tadeusz (East European Mongraphs, 2001) and Adam Mickiewicz: The Life of a Romantic (Cornell UP, 2008) as well as articles on Polish, Ukrainian, and Russian literature.
