Brett Wiley is an Associate Professor of English at Mount Vernon Nazarene University in Mount Vernon, OH, where he has taught since 2008. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Georgia. He has published or presented work on Toni Morrison, Ernest Hemingway, Joseph Heller, and Wendell Berry. His current research is on national archetypal figures, specifically of the United States.
