Melissa Girard

Melissa Girard is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Her research has appeared in the Journal of Modern Literature, the critical collection Kenneth Burke and His Circles, and is forthcoming in The Oxford Handbook of Modern and Contemporary American Poetry. She is currently completing a manuscript on "sentimental" modernist poets, including Sara Teasdale, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Louise Bogan, and Elinor Wylie.
