Ceren Sengezer

Ceren Sengezer is a postgraduate student in American and Canadian Studies at the University of Birmingham, where she is examining influences of Shakespeare on the writing of Jack Kerouac. She earned her M.A. in Shakespeare Studies in 2009 from Birmingham’s Shakespeare Institute. In April 2010, she was awarded the prestigious “Nellie Waterson Scholarship” to visit the archives at Columbia University, the Berg Collection at the New York Public Library and the Pusey Library at Harvard University.
