Louise Rozier

Louise Rozier (Middlebury College, D.M.L. 2002) is an Associate Professor of Italian at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Her research areas are in the fields of translation and in early twentieth-century Italian literature, with a focus on women writers. She has published articles on Paola Masino, as well as translations of several of her short stories. Rozier is the author of the monograph Il mito e l'allegoria nella narrativa di Paola Masino (2004). Her English translation of Fortunato Pasqualino's The Little Jesus of Sicily (1999) won the 1996 Renato Poggioli Translation Award.
