Katherine Wakely-Mulroney

Katherine Wakely-Mulroney is a PhD candidate at the University of Cambridge, where she specialises in eighteenth and nineteenth-century didactic literature. She earned her Master of Arts with Distinction in Victorian Literature at Royal Holloway College, University of London, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts with Distinction at the University of Toronto, where she majored in English and Fine Art History.

For her doctoral thesis, Katherine is investigating the shared didactic programmes of Isaac Watts and Lewis Carroll, with particular emphasis on their approach to memorisation and mental space.
