Teresa Villa-Ignacio

Teresa Villa-Ignacio is Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in the Humanities in the Department of French and Italian at Tulane University. A specialist of twentieth- and twenty-first-century poetry in French and English, she is currently preparing a book manuscript on ethics and translation in contemporary French-American poetic exchange. With Olivia C. Harrison, she is the co-editor of an anthology-in-progress of selected texts in translation from Souffles-Anfas. She is also the producer and host of Sounding Translation, an Internet podcast featuring interviews with translators of contemporary poetry, which will debut in December 2013.
