Melissa Verhey

Melissa Verhey is a PhD candidate in French at Princeton University. She completed her BA and MA at McMaster University in Canada, and has taught in the department of English at the Université de Paris X (Nanterre). Melissa is currently writing her dissertation on moral identity and selfhood in first-person introspective fiction, including works by Charles-Augustin Sainte-Beuve, Paul Bourget, François Mauriac and Marguerite Yourcenar.
