Caryn Rae Adams

Caryn Rae Adams is an independent scholar and researcher. She holds a PhD in Life Writing, Autobiography and Biography from La Trobe University, Melbourne Australia; a M.Phil in Post-Colonial Literatures and Other Literatures in English, and a B.A in Literatures in English, with First Class Honours, from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Barbados. Her research interests include survivance discourse; trauma and shame theory; life writing of women of colour; literature of migration and exile; post-colonial and feminist theory.
