Anna Adamska

Anna Adamska (1964), - born and educated in Poland (MA and PhD at the Catholic University of Lublin) - from 1996 at the Utrecht University (NL): affiliated researcher in the Institute for the History and Culture , lecturer of medieval history at the University College Utrecht - scholarly interests: medieval (pragmatic) literacy and communication, forms and functions of charters, the social history of language, source criticism and methodology of Medieval Studies. Also interested in the cultural and socio-religious history of East Central Europe, as well as in the history of the humanities in this region in the communist and post-communist period. - author and co-author of more than hundred publications in Polish, English, French, German and Dutch
