Butler leads Indians in Cherry Valley massacre

On the 11th of November, 1778, a British Loyalist officer Walter Butler (1752 - 1781) and the Mohawk chief Joseph Brant (1743 - 1807) led an attack on the New York frontier settlement of Cherry Valley.
