Philip the Handsome of Burgundy confirms the Treaty of Senlis with France, which had been signed in 1493. This agreed that the Seventeen Provinces of the Burgundian inheritance would be ceded to the Hapsburgs, although France would retain its outposts in Artois and Flanders.
