Philip the Handsome of Burgundy meets with the Cortes of Castile at Valladolid, who recognise him as king by virtue of his marriage to Ferdinand's daughter Juana. As a result, Ferdinand I gives way to his demands to rule Castile, and signs a treaty with him, but relations are hostile.
