Short Note This is a short note

Carthage and its great general Hannibal provoked this second war against Rome. The Romans achieved a crushing victory and thus secured their domination of the Mediterranean world for centuries thereafter. The main actors of the war were Scipio Africanus on the Roman side, Hannibal and Hasdrubal on the Carthaginian side.
