James V of Scotland travels to France to fulfil the terms of the
1517 Treaty of Rouen, and marry Madeleine de Valois, daughter of
Francis I of France. She is in ill health, and after travelling to
Scotland to start a new life as Queen, she dies in July of the same
year.
