Short Note This is a short note

The Huguenots tried to carry out the 'Plot of Vincennes'. The purpose of this conspiracy was to rescue Henry of Navarre and the Duke of Alençon, the King's younger brother and a Protestant sympathiser, from the French Courts, but it failed.
