Robert Daly

Robert Daly, SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor of English and Comparative Literature at the University at Buffalo, has been a Leverhulme Fellow (a year's research in England), a John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellow (another year's research in England), and, five times, a National Endowment for the Humanities Seminar Director. He has lectured at universities in Denmark, England, Hungary, Norway, and the United States and has held visiting appointments at Cornell, Cambridge, Chapman, and Essex. In 2009 he won the Geoffrey Marshall Mentoring Award from the Northeastern Association of Graduate Schools, and in 2011 he provided the introduction, note on text, and bibliography for the new Harvard University Press edition of Cooper's _The Pioneers_.
