Frances Clare Patricia White

Frances White, who holds a B.A. in English from Oxford University and an M.A. in Librarianship & Information Technology from Loughborough University, is currently a research student at Kingston University, writing a PhD Thesis on Iris Murdoch's philosophy and literature under the supervision of Dr Anne Rowe (also a Contributor). Frances is the Assistant Editor of the Iris Murdoch Review, the journal of the Iris Murdoch Society, and she is also the Assistant Director of the Iris Murdoch Studies Centre at Kingston University. When her thesis is finished, Frances aims to make the Iris Murdoch entry in The Literary Encyclopaedia Online complete, and to offer contributions on other authors.
