Moray Watson

Dr Moray Watson is Lecturer in Gaelic at the University of Aberdeen. His PhD compared the English and Gaelic work of Iain Crichton Smith, and his current research investigates Gaelic prose fiction, from the early twentieth century to the present day. He has edited Iain Crichton Smith's Gaelic poems for a new volume due to be published by Acair soon, and is co-editing Smith's Gaelic short stories for the Scottish Gaelic Texts Society. He edited a companion to the Gaelic language, wrote a monograph on Gaelic fiction and is writing another monograph on Gaelic literature.
