Senior Lecturer, then Visiting Academic at Middlesex University, now Visiting Research Fellow at University of Westminster atthe Group for War and Culture Studies.

Research includes
a) exploring the role of memory and the discursive and linguistic strategies in personal testimonies about the Nazis camps and the second world war. Publications in this field include A Literary Analysis of Charlotte Delbo's Concentration Camp Re-Presentation (The Edwin Mellen Press, 2000) and Charlotte Delbo: une voix singulière (L'Harmattan, 2003) and Six Authors in Captivity (ed. with Ethel Tolansky) (Peter Lang, 2006.
b) the Clermont-Ferrand and Toulouse Le Mirail Universities project for intergenerational transmission through texts. Publications in collective books are to appear in 2008/9.
