William Henry Christie

William Christie is Head of the Humanities Research Centre at the Australian National University, a Fellow and Head of the English Section of the Australian Academy of the Humanities, Director of the Australasian Consortium of Humanities Research Centres, and the foundation President of the Romantic Studies Association of Australasia (2010-2015). Widely published in the area of Romantic studies, his publications include Samuel Taylor Coleridge: A Literary Life (Palgrave Macmillan, 2006) — winner of the 2008 NSW Premier's Award for Literary Scholarship — an edition of The Letters of Francis Jeffrey to Thomas and Jane Welsh Carlyle (Pickering & Chatto, 2008), The Edinburgh Review in the Literary Culture of Romantic Britain (Pickering & Chatto, 2009), Dylan Thomas: A Literary Life (Palgrave Macmillan, 2014), and The Two Romanticisms, and Other Essays (Sydney University Press, 2016).
