Ole Birk Laursen

Ole Birk Laursen is a doctoral student in the English Department at the Open University (UK). His research focuses on contemporary black and Asian British writing, life writing, trauma studies and orphan writing. In addition to his work on the AHRC-funded interdisciplinary research project, 'Making Britain: South Asian Visions of Home and Abroad, 1870-1950', he is Postgraduate Representative of the European Association of Commonwealth Literature and Language Studies and on the postgraduate committee of the Postcolonial Studies Association.
