Kate Charlton-Jones

Kate Charlton-Jones read English Literature at New Hall College, Cambridge, completing her degree in 1981. Having raised three children, she returned to academia and completed an MA with distinction in American Literature at The University of Essex in 2005. She completed her PhD on the work of Richard Yates in May 2010. In 2014, her book 'Dismembering the American Dream: the Life and Fiction of Richard Yates' was published by Alabama University Press. The book was brought out in paperback in February 2016.
