Erin Sebo

Erin is a medievalist specialising in Old English and Anglo-Latin poetry. She has taught at Monash University, University College Dublin, Trinity College Dublin and is currently Lecturer in Anglo-Saxon Literature and Language at Queen's University Belfast.

She read for her PhD at Trinity College Dublin and her doctoral thesis was concerned with intertextuality in the telling and re-telling of a particular riddle, the Creation Riddle, tracing its transmission, translation, and transformation in texts dating from 400CE to the Early Modern period. Her current research interests include gender and the heroic ethos, the history of emotion, attitudes to landscape and environment in literature, and intertextuality between popular and elite literatures.
