Kevin J. McGinley has taught at Edinburgh University, Glasgow University, and Fatih University in Istanbul, and has twice been a short-term fellow at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington DC, 2006 and 2011. He currently teaches in Scottish Cultural Studies at the University of the Highands and Islands in Orkney College (See profile). His publications have included essays on Robert Henryson, David Lyndsay, John Rich, and John Home. He is currently completing a project on John Home's drama in its social and political contexts and beginnning a study of Scottish drama in eighteenth-century North America.
