Laurel Ryan

Laurel Ryan is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of Louisiana Lafayette. Her research examines the intersections between transnational literary relationships and narratives of nationhood, focusing on how Canadian literature has negotiated and adapted various transnational literary histories to narrativize and even justify Canada’s progress from colony to nation.
