Michael Winetsky

Michael Winetsky is Adjunct Assistant Professor of English and Interdisciplinary Studies at the College of Staten Island and the Borough of Manhattan Community College, City University of New York. He writes about politics, aesthetics, culture, and the history of ideas. His literary scholarship includes work on such diverse subjects as English Romantic Poetry, the Federalists, Moby Dick , Shakespeare, James Joyce, Wallace Stevens, and Theodore Dreiser. He has published several articles about the plays and fiction of Susan Glaspell, including "Historical and Performative Liberalism in Susan Glaspell's Inheritors" in the Spring 2011 issue of Journal of American Drama and Theatre.
