Karsten Piep

Karsten H. Piep is a full-time faculty member of the Interdisciplinary Studies Program at Union Institute & University in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he teaches seminars in Western intellectual history, protest literature, and interdisciplinary theory. He is the author of Embattled Home Fronts: Domestic Politics and the American Novel of World War I (Rodopi 2009). His articles have appeared in such journals as Comparative Literature and Culture, Cultural Logic, New German Review, Papers on Language and Literature, and Studies in American Fiction.
