Aaron Ritzenberg

Aaron Ritzenberg is Associate Director of First-Year Writing at Columbia University. In his research, he considers the relationship between literature and social change in U.S. history. He is the author of The Sentimental Touch: The Language of Feeling in the Age of Managerialism (Fordham UP 2012). He has published articles on Harriet Beecher Stowe, Sherwood Anderson, Charles Chesnutt, Epes Sargent, and Michael Chabon.
