Alan Vaughan Jones

Alan Vaughan Jones studied at Aberystwyth University, and was awarded a PhD in 2011 for a thesis on the writings of Idris Davies and Alun Lewis. An essay by him on Davies's poetry appeared in Almanac: The Yearbook of Welsh Writing in English - Critical Essays in 2010. His research interests include twentieth-century Welsh writing in English, bibliography and book history, and the relationship between word and image in the art and literature of Wales.
