Kathryn Batchelor

Dr Kathryn Batchelor is Lecturer in French and Francophone Studies at the University of Nottingam, UK. Her main research interests lie in the fields of postcolonial literature and translation (particularly Francophone African literature), translation theory, translation in and involving Africa, and translation and philosophy. Recent publications include Decolonizing Translation (2009) and Translating Thought (Nottingham French Studies Special Issue) (2010).
