Lorna Dillon PhD
Lorna's PhD was on Violeta Parra's Visual Art. It was completed in 2013 at King's College London under the supervision of Professor Catherine Boyle. Following the PhD Lorna worked in academic administration at the University of Cambridge, before moving to the University of Kent to work as an assistant lecturer and network facilitator on the Leverhulme project War and Nation: Identity and the process of state-building in South America led by Dr Natalia Sobrevilla Perea. Lorna has also taught at the University of Aberdeen, King's College London and Cambridge Academic Development Programme. She has published book chapters on Violeta Parra's art and on the translation of Argentine theatre.
