Charlotte Lange

Dr Charlotte Lange works at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. In her research, she focuses on Cuban and Mexican literature with a particular interest in crime fiction and the use of parody in contemporary literature. On that particular topic, she has published a monograph, Modos de parodia (Peter Lang, 2008) and several articles on Guillermo Cabrera Infante, Reinaldo Arenas and Jorge Ibargüengoitia. She is currently researching the crime novels of argen-mex writer Myriam Laurini and Antonio Ortuño. Her co-edited book , Latin American Crime Scenes: Latin American Crime Fiction 1970s to 2010s is forthcoming (Peter Lang, 2019).
