Elena Franchi

Elena Franchi is Adjunct in Greek History (2008-) and in Ancient History Didactics (Masters of art in teaching) (2012-) at the University of Trento. She received her PhD at the University of Genova (2008). She was Von Humboldt fellow at the University of Freiburg i. B. (2011-2013) and won a Europa-fellowship at Kalapodi (Greece-Deutsches Archäologisches Institut) and Delphi (Greece, École française d'Athènes, Prof. A. Jacquemin) (2012). In 2017 she got the “abilitazione nazionale” as Associate Professor. She was member of the Bachelor Degree Final exam and Master Degree Final Exams (2011-), of the Admissions Committee of the Collegio di Merito-School for advanced studies “B. Clesio”-Master‘s programme, University of Trento, Italy (2013-2014) and of the Commissions for the Masters of art in teaching (Trento, 2012-2015). She is member of the International Network “Historiai Antike Geschichtsschreibung und Vergangenheitsvorstellungen“. Among her main publications is Die Konflikte zwischen Thessalern und Phokern.
